YCC aims to make white water paddling accessible and affordable. To achieve this, the club has invested in a wide range of kayaks and equipment.
Club equipment is of good quality to support members at the start of their paddling career.
There is an expectation that members will progressively purchase their own boats and equipment however we have a large fleet of modern kayaks and two canoes (open boats) that our current members can use for a small hire charge.
There is no charge for use of club equipment on club Weds night river sessions or club weekend trips and activity.
Club equipment cannot be borrowed for longer than 1 week (Wednesday to Wednesday).
It may only be taken after the Wednesday club session finishes and must be returned in time to be used in the following Wednesday club session.

All other equipment such as paddles, buoyancy aids and helmets are provided to members free of charge.
The borrowing member is responsible for all club equipment whilst it is away from the club.
