York Canoe Club
is affiliated to Paddle UK (formerly British Canoeing)
Club affiliation provides the club and members with 3rd party liability insurance while participating in club activities.
Affiliation also provides the club with a Canals and Rivers Trust waterways licence, which covers the use of club boats on CRT waterways during club activities.
Non-club activities are not covered by either the club insurance or waterways licence. If you wish to participate in the sport outside club activities you should consider purchasing your own Paddle UK membership
